Simon is now out of the hospital and back in Jinja. He and his grandmother (pictured above) will be staying with Katie Davis as he continues to recover and rest. When he was finally able to leave the hospital, our Program Director Shana Penner laughed as Simon told her he had a great time in Kampala. What an amazing, resilient little boy!
Simon's sponsorship program mentor was also an incredible support throughout this journey, staying with Simon every step of the way. Thank you, Eric (pictured above)!! We are grateful for the investment our mentors make in the lives of Amazima children because of your sponsorship!
Thank you again for joining hands with us as we continue to care for Simon and 600 more children like him in Uganda.
Praise the Lord!

ReplyDeleteHe's looking so much better already! Such good news.
ReplyDeleteGreat News! I think I may have met Eric this past summer in Jinja! Does he happen to know Pastor Charles from Forgotten Children?
