As precious and beautiful as these children are, this video concerns me because it makes it seem like HIV is no big deal. Even in the U.S. HIV/AIDS is the leading cause of death for African American women in their latter 20's early 30's.
Thank you for expressing your concern, Anonymous. We are intimately knowledgeable about the seriousness of HIV and AIDS, which is why Amazima hosts community education and support initiatives such as this one. We know that with early, proper, and consistent treatment, there is HOPE, which is why we promote this message of truth rather than fear that causes additional stigma and prevents people from seeking treatment. Please let us know if you have any additional questions about our HIV and AIDS support groups.
Awesome. Thanks for spreading so much love! And TRUTH!
