Each Saturday,
in the village of Buziika, hundreds of Amazima sponsored children gather together to sing songs, receive Bible teaching, play together and eat lunch. Behind the scenes, three ladies work diligently to prepare the massive amount of food necessary to feed each child a nutritious meal.
Nancy, Joanne, and Josephine prepare 60 kilograms of both rice and beans, and use meat from about 80 chickens. They fill the combustion chamber with fire wood, ignite the wood and sauté onions in massive pots. Adding tomatoes for flavor, the beans boil for hours. Preparing that much rice and chicken also takes a considerable amount of time.

Nancy, Joanne, and Josephine not only work hard, but they have also found friendship with one another! We are encouraged by the transformation in each of their hearts as they grow in community at Amazima.
Nancy - Joanne - Josephine: what wonderful work you do preparing this huge huge meal every week! God's blessings to all 3 of you :) :)
