It's SPONSORSHIP WEEK!

It's Sponsorship Week at Amazima!  We are talking all about our sponsorship program on Facebook and Twitter and taking the time to highlight details of our program and some of the children we serve.  Read here to find out more!  :)

How it works: Friends and supporters from all over the world can choose to sponsor a child through Amazima.  With a gift of $300 annually ($25 a month), Amazima will match your family with a child living in Uganda and in our sponsorship program.

Your gift of $300 a year provides your sponsored child with:

Education at a Christian school

School supplies and uniform

3 meals a day

Medical care

Christian discipleship

Spiritual growth activities for their families and/or guardians

As a part of Amazima’s sponsorship program, we are committed to providing you with:

A photo of your child

Basic information such as name, family information, health information

A picture that your child has drawn or a letter from him or her (one per year)

An update on your child once a year

Amazima feels passionately that as a child sponsor, 100% of your gift will go directly to your child.  This is a core value of our program!

Also, Amazima does not graduate children from our program at the age of 18.  We are committed to seeing our sponsored children through the completion of their education, including college if your child desires to attend (which we hope!)  Some of the children might be old for their grade because of late entrance to school or learning delays related to malnutrition or illness.

You CAN write your child!  Send a letter to: Amazima Ministries, 1694 Autumn Place, Brentwood, TN 37027. The letters are bundled and delivered several times a year to the children. At this time we are not equipped to provide a reciprocal letter from the child. We ask that you send only a letter and photo of your family. 

We have over 400 children in our sponsorship program!  Recently we added 30 additional children from the Karimojong tribe!  These beautiful children rely on Amazima for education, food, and spiritual nourishment.  All of the children in our sponsor program attend Bible studies and learn about Jesus--it's so important to us that the children are not only cared for physically, but also fed spiritually.
