For the past week, Amazima children have been receiving phenomenal dental care from a Louisiana dental team that has been generous enough to donate two weeks of their time and services to us!
Quality dental care is hard to come by around here, making it an honor and blessing

If you missed out on the dental video last time they were here, check it out:
Never thought I'd tear up over a dental video:) Such a blessing to see servants from all walks of life and professions! Inspiring on so many levels.
ReplyDeleteI, too, have wept while viewing this video. Precious. Many blessing to you all!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lord for this ministry and for these precious children.
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful what you are doing! Just finished reading your book, Katie and passed it on to my best friend. I don't know where to ask this so I will do it here. What does the ministry need besides prayer and money? I am a knitter. Do you need blankets, sweaters. layettes for babies? Kindly respond as my good friend and I are starting up the new year looking for a new service project. Blessings to you and your whole family. Julie
ReplyDeleteWow, you guys... what a blessing!
ReplyDeletePraise God from whom ALL blessings flow!
ReplyDeleteI would rather see that my sponsorship money went to paying a local dentist instead of people spending money to come there.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment! This trip was a completely volunteer trip, and Amazima did not pay for them to come to Uganda. Quality dental care is difficult to come by in our area, so their visits the past two years have been a big blessing to our team and the children. If you have any questions about how we steward your kind gift, we would love to speak with you in more detail! You can reach our sponsorship team at 615.656.5355 or sponsor@amazima.org.
DeleteI will always remember the human touch provided by the dentist, the staff also was just the best. He never fails to follow up with me after treatment.
