Christmas Staff Party

It goes without saying that here at Amazima we have some pretty amazing staff members!  In order to celebrate those who work for Amazima and all that God has done for us during the year, we hold a Christmas staff party. 

 We began with a word of prayer to thank the Lord for all His provision.  It was beautiful to see the whole body of Amazima united together in prayer.

 Any Ugandan party is cause to bring out your best clothes and get dressed up!
Our staff party was no exception.

 

 All of our favorite Ugandan dishes were served from matoke (plantain) to chapati (a type of fry bread) and of course, soda!

And the games began! Some played games of volleyball while others participated in an "Amazima Quiz" to prove who knows the most trivia about our organization!

After the games began to wind down, we all sat together and watched a slideshow of photos from the past year.  Gifts were given out to show our appreciation for all of our staff.  A calendar with all of the staff's photos as well as an Amazima rain jacket- which if you live here, is incredibly useful!

 It was a wonderful time filled with food and laughter, friends and family.  Wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas season as well!
